When installing T7x, you should never use the AlterWare launcher. If you have seen the short and simple post explaining how to install T7x, you should know that it is as simple as downloading t7x.exe from our server and manually moving it to your Black Ops 3 installation folder.
If you were directed here by the AlterWare bot after posting a screenshot of an error from the AlterWare launcher, please note the following:
Too many people did not read the T7 installation guide and posted yet another error in the Discord server, stating that the AlterWare launcher was not downloading T7x into their Black Ops 3 folder. The launcher was never meant to be used for this purpose, although it has now been modified to attempt the download. It tries to open the game, but sometimes it fails for certain users.
HOW TO FIX:
- Remove alterware-launcher.exe and any related files (such as logs or JSON files) from your Black Ops 3 game folder.
- Ensure you have t7x.exe in your game folder. This should be there if you followed the guide correctly, or it may have been placed there after running the AlterWare launcher.
- Run t7x.exe as an Administrator.
