Hey!
I just heard about T7x recently and was super excited to get back into BO3 but I’m having trouble launching the exe. Clicking on the exe doesn’t do anything, there’s no prompt or anything.
I’ve tried figuring out why it isn’t running but I’m stumped atm.
I’ve tried the following to no avail:
- Running the exe as admin
- Reinstalling BO3
- Restarting my PC
- Reinstalling T7x
I’ve never been able to run T7x. Usually I place the exe in the BO3 (steam) directory and try running it. I’ve never got an “updating files” prompt after running the exe for the first time.
I do have the t7 patch by Serious installed. Is T7x and the T7 patch incompatible?
I’ve tried uninstalling the T7 patch but T7x still doesn’t run and I can’t run BO3 via steam since BO3 just crashes without the T7 patch. Maybe I’m uninstalling the T7 patch incorrectly? I don’t know how to uninstall it. I’ve just been trying to move the T7 patch files to a separate folder on my desktop, outside of the BO3 directory.
I hope this makes sense and I’ve provided enough information to figure out what I’m missing here
edit: I did see a post here about someone having a similar issue. They noted that the exe file’s name changed to exe.old or something. I haven’t experienced that.
